Graphic designers need at least a two-year degree in graphic design. Most employers prefer a bachelor's degree. You will learn the basic principles of design as will as computerized design, studio art, and web design. You will also spend time working with computer graphics and design software.


The median earnings for graphic designers are $38,030. Entry-level jobs in graphic design had median earnings of $32,000, while senior level designers earned $56,000.
